I lifted this countdown timer from another post (credit:JGB); lemme see if it works for me...

(it didn't)

Now it does. The countdown timer is in the user profile (User CP), down at the bottom. Lifting the source code and sticking it in didn't work (am I a geek or what?), but the User CP setup does.

106 days here and counting. Thanks for the info. on the licorice liquer. It sounds like the stuff they give you after dinner at El Moros. By the way, right up the street from the liquor store is a third La Mission restaurant that few tourists know about. It is the best of the three. I had grilled grouper with steamed veggies, baked potato, guac. refried beans and fresh tortillas for 65 pesos. This was last August. And, it was as good as any I've had on the island. For desert, I got a large malt glass filled with chocolate ice cream. I think it was 15 or 20 pesos. Unbelievable! Best chocolate ice cream I've ever eaten. The place reminded me of a restaurant that we used to love but is closed now, Rincon Maya.
