Now the Biden admin is going to implement a mandatory self-quarantine for international travel. Not sure how they think they will enforce that, but there it is.

In an executive order he will issue Thursday, his second day in office, President Joe Biden will require masks be worn in airports, planes, intercity buses and other forms of transportation. The president is also ordering people who arrive in the U.S. from other countries to self-quarantine, which had previously been unenforced guidance.

We had zero success with isolation of covid 19 suspects, at least here in NC. I can’t imagine this would be any more successful.

Wearing masks is easily enforced. Wouldn't have to ask us once, much less twice.
Quarantining after our return from Cozumel, (hoping that I don't get moderated), seems to me to be utterly impossible.

Canada has been requiring a 14 day quarantine for months and months now. There is an ap you use where you file your quarantine plan before you leave for your country, you can expect to be asked about it as you go through customs and immigration, and I received a few follow-up phone calls during my quarantine from those who were monitoring and enforcing. Yes, I'm sure I could have somehow dodged it, but the fines are crazy-high. And you can expect the RCMP to show up if someone suspects you are violating your quarantine.

Sorry I was not refering to your post, you posted while I was typing. I watched his speach today, then went to the CDC website to see if it was being enforced yet.
