You joke, but they didn't really plan ahead very well. A few days before the trip they told us we'd have a rapid antigen test on board the boat. I'm thinking: Drive 250K to Bangkok, fly to Hat Yai, take a two hour van trip to Pak Bara Harbor in Satun, get on the boat, test positive: Then what?
We asked, they had no clue. So, we had planned to do a home test before all that travel so we'd know in advance not even to set out.
Plan ahead.
Quarantine in Philippines
Thank you for your post. We were thinking of diving in the Philippines in September but hadn’t considered possible Covid complications. I think we’ll hold off until ? next year? https://www.onehealthpass.com.ph/ Must be fully vaccinated + one booster shot. NO quarantine and pre arrival RT-PCR...

Exactly, pointless! Just let it roll!
Unfortunately it is not that simple.
Once beaten, twice shy.
A lot of divers especially booked on LoB have been left with bad taste in mouth.
I am going to stick with simple resort based diving and book the accommodation with eg Agoda(with free cancellation until few days before commencing of the trip).
