Hi.

We're going to Costa Maya on a cruise ship in Sept. I like to go diving while my wife can go snorkeling or just enjoy beach. I've found Dreamtime and Maya Palms as the better known dive ops, in Mahahual and 30-min. south respectively. Just found a third possible choice, Blue Ocean Safari http://blueoceansafari.com/

Has anyone had experience with this shop? They also show snorkeling and kayaking available.

Thanks.

I was just in Xcalak the beginning of April, About 30 miles south of Mahahual. Don't know how long you will be there but if you get an opportunity to dive banco chinchorro, go for it. I believe dreamtime advertises trips out ther but apparently don't have a permit according to XTC dive center in Xcalak. Never heard of blueoceansafari so I can't help you there. Enjoy your trip!
