Is it your plan to try to spend more than one day at the Banks (weather permiting) or just one day and head in to one of the islands. For those interested, Cortez Banks can be as good as it gets, world class, but be aware that of the 5 attempts I made to go there on the SD we only made it twice, and one of those we were run off by the navy.(jet fighter crash) Viz can be huge, so can the currents and surge, and lobsters. well worth the money if you get there.
