He's one brave canuck Ben...
hehehe thanks koya. I'll promote the PI any day. :) Spoon's doing us proud as the guide. Don't forget - I'm more crazy than brave.

@ Ben: come back for a while to the tropics. Maybe you won't shiver as much. :)

Chip: I have my drysuit and 300gram undies :) Now the question is will you give up diving when you come back to this part of the world?

well the way i'm understanding US diving: if you do your david-hasselhof-macho-shorts-and-rashguard-diving style your nips will be major entanglement hazzards...

or at least drag in the sand even if you're hovering a few feet off the bottom

I was in club paradise on a honeymoon trip and took a introduction to diving.. and I was sold! got my certification here in monterey, ca. did some diving in mexico, conzumel, belize and hawaii and anilao .. coron is still the best! but i've never been to bohol.. so I can't really say. This June i'm going back home to Coron and then to Bohol... i'm so excited....

Been to Bohol as a non-diver, enjoyed it tremendously.
Just came back yesterday from Coron: with or without diving, I'd say it's definitely CORON!

If you have but just one option presently... go to Coron, there are nice easy wreck dives, beautiful healthy reefs (The Rock, Alcatraz), must experience Barracuda Lake, and a very good divemaster (Ron Edmond - Ron Edmond).

Then go to Bohol next year, equally beautiful reefs and healthy marine life, nice beach not yet (hopefully still by then) too touristy, Chocolate Hills and tarsiers.
