Convert or not to convert

Ok thanks, it's just that airports are usually the worst place to change money. I don't really want to travel into Jakarta although I have a 6 hour stopover before my flight to Sorong.

I'm staying on the islands so not doing lob, there isn't any access to banks or use of credit or debit cards to pay for anything and no way to pay for anything prior to arrival so will be taking cash... Will be trusting in my travel safe...
