I'm heading to Palau from Houston on a Continental Boeing 767 and at least for now, I'm assigned one of the 3 center row seats. I was curious what the overhead storage space is like for these seats.

From pictures I've seen, it looks like the overhead storage is somewhat smaller than those on the side rows of the plane.

I tend to push the limits of what is allowed with carry ons, as my personal item is almost as large as my carry on. So far, on multiple trips, it's never been an issue, but I'm concerned with the potentially less storage space available on this model of plane, that I may have to modify my baggage technique.

If anyone has flown this model plane or specifically this flight, any help would be appreciated. Just trying not to be "that guy" when we board.

In this situation, the tactic is to target the larger side bins, regardless of seat assignment. There is no firm protocol I've even seen for stowing luggage. Get in, move fast, sit down, keep quiet.
