Does anyone have some advice for a newbie thinking of baseing his u/w videoraphy on his DCR-PC9? Housings? Lights? How much is annual upkeep/replacement parts on a video camera rig? How big of batteries should I get for my lights? Any types of light properties I need to think of? I know that I need white light...but what Kelvin, and what spectrum, etc.

Any information would be great!

Thanks!
Doug

PS> Anyone have a good recommendation on a strobe/light for my still camera? I have a Sony DSC-P9 and the MPK-5 marine pack. I would like to get an external light for it. =-)

Here are some links to get you started:

And some housings/lights for the PC series:

And a bulletin board do ask questions pertaining to videography:

Video University Forum

Just my opinion, but why not start out with a housing and see how things go before you invest in lights? You can always add on later and you don't need them for general videography at shallower depths, just need the filter below 10'. IMO
