It is already on its way back.

Just when you thought this thread was dead........

My new rig should be delivered this Friday! I hope it goes better than the last. (Still waiting on a refund....)

This time it is a DSS 35lb Torus rig. I will probably raid my buddy's pool this weekend to fit it then try to get some dives. So I guess my Ranger gets at least 1 or 2 more dives tomorrow night before my new toys show up.

spg01, I just want to clarify. You ordered a 35# wing, received a 40# wing and the vendor told you it was just mislabeled? Mind sharing who your vendor was? Sounds like they eventually made good by giving you a refund, I just wonder if it was just a mistake by whomever you talked to or a company-wide issue about just telling the customer something to get them off the line.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Maybe I missed something, but didn't it work out that the original wing measured 34 lbs lift when attached to a tank? 44lbs minus the 10 lbs dry weight?

If you wanted a 35 lb wing, that's what you got....

The most useful way a manufacturer can specify lift is while configured. Who cares what a free-standing wing displaces?
