Reminds of the experience I posted here 3 yrs ago with the 2 Spearfishermen from a particular group clamering all over me while escorting a group od OSS new divers in the left cove. Talk about horrifying. It also upset me when they left a huge bag of garbage on the beach.

And this group came down in force without dive flags and an inflatable RIB.

On the bright side one helped me out when I sliced my thumb open gearing up as it was to hot for my buddy to wait for me as he was already in the water.

Another lesson there: always go in and out with your buddy and gear up together.

As I was returning to shore and gently ascending, I ran into 2 nuts with spearguns! I flashed them with my 35 W HID so that they knew there was another diver nearby but don't know if they saw me or not as they had silted up everything so badly that the viz was nill. What a mess these guys were making![/QUOTE]

The vis was crap, and I was just poking along in the rocks looking for anything to make the dive worthwhile. When I hapened to look up, this lunatic with a speargun shoved out in front of him came charging over the rocks to the inside between me and the ledge. Had i moved a little in the wrong direction, he would have stuck me. I'm just glad he didn't pull the damn trigger. I had an overwhelming desire to grab the gun and break it over his head.
