I heard that there was a flash flood warning on the North Shore today. Given that it rained cats and dogs at my house (Pauoa side of Punchbowl) and in Kalihi yesterday, I'm wondering what to expect today. Did it ran hard there yesterday also?

Do you expect crappy viz or should I just be considering it so close to the end of the North Shore diving season that I should care less!:D

I don't know, but all I can say is the hill at Shark's Cove gets very muddy and slick with not a lot of rain. Getting your gear back up the bank when it has poured is almost impossible for me, then its all caked with red mud, bummer.
(take a man)

The ocean is flat as a lake over here...I should be cruising to Molakai, but HS football has taken over my schedule.

I find the best predictor to be the tide chart. I deep bump "flush" and then an incoming from deep ocean waters usually makes for good viz, I think.
