I thought the water had been treated a long time ago? Troy and I took some water from there as a sample about 6 years ago. We put it in a coke bottle with a paper clip in it and the paper clip dissolved within 7 days. Moral to the story? Clean your gear.

I think the water is the way it is from the rocks; you are ever in Galveston look at the seawall - at least some of those came from the Blue Lagoon.

Dove Blue Lagoon last weekend. Vis was 10-15 feet, temps 70° at surface and 62° on bottom (28').
