if you are a BSAC Ocean diver (learnt something new already!) it would be impossible to fail PADI O/W!!

From what I have heard from the BSAC crew it is about the same equivalence as PADI Recuse Diver + PADI Master Scuba Diver + +

But then it does take 6-8 months to complete.....

PADI is not the exception. I know too many instructors from other agencies, and a lot of them very bad divers!!!! I hate that!!! I'm a DM PADI and I really love dive, this is why I CANNOT accept a bad Instructor! Report the Instructor to PADI!!!!

well i spoke to a guy from dolphin divers, newbury, today concerning taking the PADI AOW course in the summer and my OW experience came up. Found a few more things the instrustor from my OW course missed such as oral inflation of the BCD for a fin pivot. I've also been adviced by him to report my old instructor.
Sounds like a good instructor at dolphin so im seriously considering taking my AOW with him even though its considerably more expensive.
