I have questions about my computer.
I cannot view any pictures or images on any web site, but I can view pictures or images saved on my computer. How can I fix that?
It seems that I can log on the board once at a time, means if I want to post a reply then I have to log on and after I post it, I find out that I am out and I have to log again. What is the problem?
I ran Norton Virus Scan and no virus was found.
Would someone help me please?
Thanks

try checking your cookie settings. you have to have them enables to "stay logged in"

Are you blocking cookies? Do you have your browser set to view text only?
Are you using IE or Netscape or another browser?
In IE, look on the menu bar under Tools / Internet Options
Under the Advanced tab, in the Multimedia options, there is a box that says "show pictures" it should be checked.
In the Privacy tab, a setting of medium or medium high should be adequate if you aren't surfing wares or other rogue sites.

In Netscape, I think these settings are under the Edit menu, (Preferences I think)

Good luck!

I am using IE and show pictures is checked, I do not know about the cookies.
I did not have any problem before, but when I got home yesterday and turned the computer on I found that problem.
I do not see the privacy tab.
Thanks

Lets drill down some specifics here, what version of IE and what operating system.

Also, have you cleared the cache on the browser (tools\options then cleared out the temporary internet files, cookies, etc... also clear your history and change the history to store 0 or 1 days, no real big dealio there.

Now, the kicker question, what is your i-net speed.. dial up, cable/dsl?

It is 5.5 IE version, I am using windows ME; I just cleared the history and the others.
I am using cable speed internet
