I have a Walter Kidde 4.2 cfm compressor from Jim Shelden (frogma62) and have been using Mobil Jet Oil 254 with it. I have recently found out about the new Mobil Jet Oil 387.
A website states: "Proactively developed to respond to the evolving needs of customers and the industry, Mobil Jet Oil 387 is the most advanced Mobil turbine oil ever developed." ...and... "Made from a specially prepared, ester base stock, Mobil Jet Oil 387 is fortified with a unique chemical additive package. The resulting lubricant has superior thermal and oxidation stability that resists deterioration and deposit formation. It delivers a balance that has never before been achieved with a turbine oil, raising the bar in jet engine lubrication."
So am wondering if I can use it instead... Would welcome any opinions from "pescador775" or anyone else with background/knowledge.
