Hi

Well everyone, I have to say that the compressed course is harder than
I thought...LOL
I am so tired you can't believe it...Im doing very well with the skills , But
Six hours of pool diving today was a bit much...and I have 4 more hours
tomorrow Including my Two hundred meter swim and ten minute tread....

Any Idea what percentage of Students go through the Compressed course????

I'm not a believer in compressed courses on any subject.

As you have already discovered, being in a pool for 6 hours was a bit much. Comressed info means just that, it is squeezed into a shorter than normal time span. No time to get into details, just bang it through and get a "certification". Not an ideal way to learn skills that affect life or death.

As for what what percentage do a compressed course; I have no idea, but hopefully few take that route. Scuba and the risks it can present deserve more respect than a quicky course.

Here's a case in point:

Blame the training agencies that allow it and the few instructors that teach it for a quick cash turn around .
