Does the port work with both lenses?

If I recall correctly, you 'could' fit the 55-250 inside the port but you wouldn't be able to adjust the focal length as it would extend too much and I don't believe the worm gearing would fit the different barrel diameter.

All that said, I can't imagine why you'd want to... using a telephoto underwater isn't typically a good idea (lighting, floaters in water, etc.).

The port is designed for the 17-85.
