OK guys went out and looked at a couple and the SK7 won , you can tilt that sucker alot without the needle sticking.

Don't forget to look at the DSS mount. I just set mine up with the DSS last week and it's awesome!

My only comment is that you should avoid getting one which mounts on the BACK of your console.

Us 'Jersey guys think alike - Its definitely beneficial to be able to see both your depth and compass at the same time. This isn't always possible with some consoles. I find it easy to wear my wrist mount computer on the bottom (inside) of my arm, so when holding the compass to get a heading, I can see the depth as well. Just my $0.02.

My compass is on the back of my console and I like it there. I generally use my wrist mount computer for depth though.
