Have a serious look at the AGA mask. It's the standard of the public safety divers and military for good reason.

The majority of public safety divers tend to be law enforcement or fire department personal. One of the leading vendors (after Scott) of SCBA is Interspiro, makers of the AGA. They are good masks, but I suspect this a a big part of why they are the leader in the PSD market.

That however is not the reason they are the military primary mask.
