Coming to SoCal for a Visit, Would Like to Do Some Diving!

Hi,

I am going to be visiting my brother in Harbor City next week and would love to do some diving while I am there, but my brother doesn't dive so I'll be alone. I have booked the DWDD Anacapa trip on Thursday, but would also love to dive Wednesday the 17th or Friday the 19th as well if anyone is going and wouldn't mind me tagging along.

I've never dove in California so I'm not used to kelp diving or cold water diving, though I've done a little of that. Just purchased a new 7mm hooded suit, boots and gloves, so I think I'm good to go. : )

A little about me:

I have been diving for 10 years and have about 70 dives. Most my diving has been in Cozumel (since I lived near Houston and it was quick and cheap to fly to Cancun) and the local, murky lake we lived by when we were in Texas.

I've done only about a dozen shore dives, that was in Hawaii and Florida, and various lakes here and there.

Let me know, I'd love to meet and dive with some of you.

Im in the same boat as you, but will only be there for the 17th. I signed up for a shore dive with OEX. I didnt want to spend a lot on a boat dive incase I cant handle the cold or so much sealife, as Im a newbie.

I have Wed, Thurs, Fri, off next week. Im going to try and throw a beach dive together on one of the days just dont know what day yet.
