I’m looking for a dive buddy that can help with gear transportation (just the tanks should be OK). I’m available any weekend in July anywhere within 6hr of San Jose. I will also need to rent gear.
I am also visiting the bay area for July and interested in diving while I’m here. I live in Seattle and used to cold water diving. The complications are (1) I didn’t bring any of my dive equipment and (2) I’m on my motorcycle. I can rent gear - it looks like the cheapest is around $60/day or $100 for the weekend. I can transport the gear on my bike, but worried about the tanks. Gear rental prices seem high, so I don’t plan on diving if I need to hire a guide as well. Instead I’ll probably just ride around Yosemite and up and down CA-1 on the weekends.
Dannobee, can I coerce you to take out your boat?
