We are coming to the island from the states. I heard that some people want the blank DVD and CD-R's. We can bring some. IS there anything else that the islanders want ? I can bring some stuff.... What can I bring you guys that you want ?

I've never seen a post quite like this, how cool.
I'll be sure to post the same before my next visit.

I didn't make it.... just found someone with an old tire....
Scubby will be here when the Johns are... Where are you staying? It really looks like a group dive is in order! Photo proof by Korsu!
Sorry Tom will miss their craziness.

---------------
will be at Kura Hotel casino Fri night 9pm ,June 18 til Mon. Then Monday we move to Hulanda lodge at the west end until Sat, then we need to find a place to stay Sat night, til we leave sunday.. I hear that "Sol" is a 5 min walk from Hulanda lodge, eh.
PM me with a list of supplies. i will check scubaboard from hotel upon arriving.
we are trained sailors, and looking for a small craft sailboat for a daysail.

Yup, same week. Wanna make a dive plan? I have friends in high places at OEW and might be able to arrange for enough tanks. Korsu joined a friend and me; we went one way from the fisherman's pier to the dive shop. If you are slow with cameras and photos (no names required), we can discuss either booking it back in the shallows with your last 500 PSI, leisurely chatting and floating back on the surface, or going 1/2 air and back. It's under a third of a mile one way and this is something to consider.
No need to check Scubaboard, one John and family will also be at the Lodge, the dive shop is downstairs and yes, we are OK, maybe a 10 minute walk from the Lodge.
There are lots of places to stay around Westpunt. We can't commit to a single night so far in advance. If we have availability, you can stay in our apartment, but there are plenty of others. The Lodge is booked that weekend? Wow.

Scubby:

One of the "must do's" in and around Westpunt is to meet Sunshine and David and dine at their lovely restaurant. Lovely people, great company and lovely food. It is a gathering place of sorts, so you will see lots of friendly faces. Did I mention good food?

They are so nice, they sold the Mrs. the shirt off David's back last year!!

(Sunshine I hope you ordered T-Shirts!! Mrs. needs a new one!!)

As far as a group dive in the afternoon, Mrs. and I have an interest, and you nailed me on the head. Camera-doesn't move far and certainly slowly. Young JD and son #2 are likely taking the truck and sightseeing in the afternoons.

I am beginning to think the population of Westpunt is going to double in June!

Sunshine is going to need to take reservations and better better plan on a lot of shopping trips and Bryan is going to need to get another boat brought over from one of the other shops.

jdcpa: My son and I like to do night time photo dives out behind AllWest. Usually shallow and long dives, sometimes after dinner. You should bring your camera over and join us.
