double post. sorry

These are all excellent ideas. I have been to Boston about five times now and absolutely love the feel of the city. In my opinion, Florida has a limited number of cities with true character much less history so I do enjoy Boston. But I have done enough tours.

Believe it or not, my company has Red Sox and Celtics season tickets so that would be easy. Unfortunately, I am not a baseball fan or basketball fan. Don't shoot me for it...but if it is any consolation, I have been to Fenway and it was worth it when I went. But thanks for the suggestion, Paul.

Matt, I like the idea of the aquarium and pending on location maybe a couple of museums also. Strangely enough, I would have never thought to do that. Of course, I could do as Gary suggested and go to a few "place to be naughty" :eyebrow: but my husband might not approve!;)

Any restaurant suggestions? I will need to get over going to dinner alone, but the company will reimbursement for my dinners, so I want to enjoy them!

Thanks again and keep the suggestions coming.

Sandy

There's a Legal Seafood right by the Aquarium, and that's pretty good for a restaurant chain, but the Chart House restaurant on Long Wharf (also a literal stone's throw from the aquarium) has food that's at least as good, with a much better "old Boston" atmosphere... the building it's in is over 240 years old, and once housed John Hancock's offices. If it were me, I'd either go there or take a stroll around the North End (it isn't far) waiting to run across a place that smells too irresistable to pass by.

The Duck Tours are a great way to see Boston, and get a boat ride at the same time. They start up again in a few weeks.

Everyone has their favorite Italian Restaurant in the North End. Try just walking around Hanover Street and find your own favorite.

See it at the aquarium and then eat it at legals!:D

If your looking at museums/aquarium, one of the better sites is the USS Constitution, oldest commissioned US naval vessel afloat (if you haven't done that one yet). Doesn't take all that long for the tour and it's located not too far from the aquarium. So if your down that way and haven't done it previously...

In that case you should take the tickets and give them to your new friends here in Boston who are racking their brains for ways to keep you entertained. Like me for instance.:D
