| Come join us on, August 14th, our guest speaker will be Marc Moran. He will be completeing his 5 week Divemaster Internship on August 4th, and he will tell us about his experiences. He is a native of Mechanicsville and Graduated from Virginia Tech in 1997 with a degree in Agricultural Education and Horticulture. He has been a teacher at Atlee High School in Hanover County since August of 1999 where he teaches classes in Agricultural Education, Horticulture, and Turfgrass Science. He was introduced to diving by a colleague and fellow RDC Member Mark Humphries. Marc and his wife Theresa both received their OW Certifications in May of 2010 and completed our AOW in July of 2011. In August of 2011, he completed hiss Rescue Diver Certification. Since beginning diving, Marc and Theresa decided to combine our love for Caribbean travel with Diving and opened Warm Water Travel in January of 2011 to help others explore the world they have grown to love. His goal as a Divemaster is to help others enjoy the sport of diving locally as well as strengthen the business. Socializing begins at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. Mi Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, located at 8250 Midlothian Turnpike, in Richmond. |
