Hey everyone. The Children's Aquarium at Fair Park is doing a "Sneak Preview" of the new digs for the Great State Fair of Texas.

Anyone thinking about volunteering, this would be a good opportunity to stop by and see the new place and talk with one of us current volunteers.

I'm scheduled to work this coming Saturday (Oct. 2nd), 10a.m.-2:30p.pm. anyone coming to the Texas/OU game, come by before the game and say hi.

I'm also scheduled for the last day of the Fair Oct. 17th, same hours.

admission during the Fair is $5 for anyone 3 and up.

For potential "vols."; the dive operations will begin sometime after the Fair, I'm thinking most likely after the first of the year, it may take until then before the entire aquarium is full operational.

We do need new volunteers now! Lots and lots of hands will be needed to make this thing run on all cylinders.

Hi there. I've been talking to Bruce and faxed my application today. I'm scheduled to work the touch tank on Monday. Should be fun. Looking forward to the diving aspect later.
