Colorado radio listeners hear mistaken tsunami warning
Eagle, Colorado-AP -- It sits about 15-hundred miles from the nearest ocean -- so people in Gypsum, Colorado, aren't too worried about tsunamis.
That's why many were a bit surprised recently to hear a tsunami warning come across their radios.
Officials say somebody at Eagle County's communications center hit the wrong button during a weekly test, and the emergency broadcast system sent out the warning.
They say they've reprogrammed the test, since an actual tsunami isn't all that likely in the middle of Colorado.
