Rick, i understand that the Flathead6, 50D and DS4 are all 1st stages and ZX is their common 2nd, i was wondering if they were substantially different to dive. I guess i didnt mention the DS4 as i had seen the DS5 was not env sealed and only mentioned in passing on the zeagle website (1st stage page, not on the regulator model page, where the DS5 is shown).
As for BC's i dove the ranger and didnt like all the bulky saddles around my hips for the WI and mesh pockets. I did very much like the back inflation though, but i also did find that the air trapping in the bladder cover and the extra padding/pockets meant i had to add 4# to stay neutral at the end of the dive compared to a nasty Cressi jacket BC i usually have to rent - didnt like having to carry that extra weight, but i digress. Again i am considering the BP/Wings option, looking into it.
