I just returned from a one week stay at Cobalt Coast. The resort is absolutely fabulous! Its owner/operator Ari and his staff go above and beyond any expectation you may have for service and hospitality. I cannont say enough good things.

We enjoyed a week of boat diving each morning with Dive Tec and once again, I can't say enough good things. The boat ran on a good schedule that was dependable and prompt. Airfills were never shabby and all equipment functioned well. I had the misfortune of having to use rental gear and their scubapro gear was found to be in good working condition.

The divemasters at DiveTec treat divers with respect. They all were very professional and gave the best dive briefings I have encountered in my 8 years of dive travels in the Carribean. They are an excellent crew!

Anyway, if you are considering a dive vacation in Grand Cayman, you should definitely talk with Dora at Cobalt Coast. She is so kind and proficient that you will not regret working with her to book your trip.

I was there a few years ago and got nitox certified with them. They were definately not easy on us which was good. They also did tech diving and I know half of the people did not pass so they are definately not a certification factory. The next time you go, do a night dive right in front of the other dive tec store by the turtle park. There's a bunch of huge tarpin just to the left of the channel and a huge moray under the huge rock. Also a nice reef right in front of the hotel. Great hotel and dive operation.
