Yeah we saw a lot of other activity however I didn’t pay enough attention to that traffic to formulate an opinion. However the helicopter was not doing as you suggested when I observed for over an hour and that should be obvious from my description of the search pattern they were conducting.
I considered trying to communicate with them at the time, but the conditions were so Ideal, I was pretty confident all the boats and traffic would have already found a diver on the surface by then.
