Does anyone go to Club Med for diving anymore?

I did...one time. Several years ago in Cancun. Was very disappointed. The lousy 2 dives we got, ended so fast because a couple of newbie air hogs sucked all their air up too quickly. Would recommend you make reservations at a REAL dive resort instead.

I was introduced to Scuba at Club Med Cancun and then I went home and got PADI certified. I have dove at Turks Club Med too - LOVED IT!

Cozumel is still my favourite thou.

I was just wondering if anyone had been to a Club Med in the last few years.

My first "real" dive after OW training was at Club Med Faru (Maldives) so I have fond memories of seeing my first Napolean wrasse, sharks and Eagle ray.

I was at Club Med Kani (Maldives) a couple of years ago (assisting my then boss on a magazine assignment) - the "lousy 2 dives" per day policy was still in place. I guess if I had to go back, it would not be for the diving - one can get a lot more (and better) diving done elsewhere.
