Our dive centre is located in Playa del Carmen, in the Yucatan peninsula, on the « Riviera Maya », 65km to the South from Cancun International Airport. Phocea is the only PADI Gold Plam Instructor Development Centre in Playa del Carmen. The guides and Instructors spek English, french and spanish and all of them are recognized by worldwide dive organizations.

This Mexican coast has a quite well adapted climate for diving, the water is warm and cristal clear, what allows to dive almost all year long in excellent conditions. I just came back from vacation and did my Advance Open Water at Phocea.
This shop is amezing! The instructors were all excellent, friendly and helpful.
The staff are also awesome. I had a problem with my gear after day 1 and they had a new set ready for me the next day, they also gave me a new wetsuit between my morning dives and afternoon one. that was awesome.

I would say that Phocea has the best location in PDC. They are a short 2 min walk from their boats (which they have 2). As far as I could tel, there were the closest one form the beach.
If I go back to PDC, I will dive with them again garantee!
Martine and Didier (owners) were fantastic in aranging my certification dives to fit my schedule.
The staff there speaks perfectly english, french and spanish.


To sum up, you got to try this place if you dive in Playa. great staff, great rental equipment, awesome diving experience!
