Clipperton Atoll ... OMG ... tell me it's not true!

Having visited Galapagos and Cocos I wanted to experience the same elsewhere

I looked at Socorro and then I spotted Clipperton ... I was so excited and began my indepth research

Last night I saw this on youtube

Is it true, is this what has happened to Clipperton?
the film shows garbage on the beach, dieing sea birds, little in the way of sea life, and explains the results of shark finning

We have an expedition planned for 15 nights (Clipperton- Revillagigedo) in 2010 that is full but we also have one more with a few spaces available in 2011. We did the first one in 2007.

Thanks very much for the links .... I enjoyed the pictures, unfortunately I don't speak French

I have another question:

I understand that the 'season' for Revillagigedo is November to May
But, when is the best time to go?

I'm interested in seeing sharks, manta, whales .... anything bigger that me
