I will be traveling to Clearwater in May and was would like to get a few dives in. Any suggestions on good shore diving spots or dive charters?

Shore diving is pretty much non-existant in this area. Water's just too shallow. At about 5 miles offshore, depth is only about 25-30'.
I usually dive from my own boat, but there are lots of charters in the area.
If you spearfish, I've heard good things about Hook N Spear charters. Home (Launch from Belleair, which is in between St. Pete & Clearwater)
For just diving, check out Rock Bottom Divers. This is run by a friend of mine. Clearwater Dive Charter | Tampa Florida Scuba Diving Trip (Launch from Tarpon Springs, north of Clw)
