Hi,

New England Aquarium Dive Club is doing a clean-up at Canoe beach in Nahant (near NEU) on Sept. 25. Everybody is welcome! This event needs divers, snorklers and beach combers.

The NEU open house is the same day. Come and see their labs and learn about their latest research.

I've been doing this event for the last 3 years because it's really fun and interesting. It's a beautiful dive site. It also feels good to help clean the shore and beach.

Well, if it's the 25th, I'm in. I'll hit the link to get the particulars.

This sounds like a nice opportunity to dive Nahant w/o the nasty parking restrictions. John, I'll pm you about this weekend.

So who is going to help out at this on Saturday?

Sounds like a chance to do something good for the environment and sneak in a dive at a usually hard to access (parking!) site.

C U There.

And I was looking for something to do this weekend. Anybody have advice on what I'll need to bring other then myself and gear? I immagine a catch bag or the like will be required to be useful (which means I'll have to pick one up...).

Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to bow out of this one. I've got to work Sat from 3 to 11 and I have a charter set-up for Sun morn. I'll pick-up some trash while I'm out on the boat to make up for it. Have fun.
