Wristshot:
I hear ya. The "mod bug" gets expensive quickly. Look into SFCs (if you haven't already). Mine tightened the body big time. You're obviously adept at surfing internet MSG forums, but in case you don't know:
http://www.LS1.com and http://www.LS1tech.com are full of good info. I'm on those sites all the time.

Grumpy & Socal:
60's Chargers and GTO's are awesome machines and some of my favorites. :thumb:

:burnout:

I conned my dad into getting a '69 GTO for the family car...he didn't know squat about engines and with a little quick talking on my part, he ended up with a 400 ci/350 hp grocery getter...cool.

The Goat didn't have posi-trac, so if you jumped on it off the line, the right rear tire (Uniroyal Redlines!! remember those?) went up in a tremendous cloud of smoke.

He was PO'd when he only got 19,000 miles out of the OEM tires...thought the tires were 'bad'...

I had the grease monkey at the Shell station weld some 'dumps' on the exhaust pipes so I could run 'open headers' and make noise.... the gaskets rotted out eventually and my dad drove into the driveway looking really sour about it...got busted for that move and had to pay to have everything welded shut.

I rat raced some guy in a '67 396/375 Camaro in it one day and he waxed me, told him to wait til I could come back with my own wheels...returned in my SS Camaro and blew his doors off.

That'll teach ya to mess with my mom's car.

I had a '66 Mustang GT in Emberglo that I sold about 10 years ago - kicking myself every time I hear that color. I've actually been looking for this color for the last few years - do you know of anyone that might be interested in selling?
