Sounds like fun. Glad to hear you are moving forward with the NOAA thing. Is "JY" reef the same as "J" reef? Did you dive out of Savannah?. I've always enjoyed diving J reef and the Sagebrush nearby. Saw one of the largest loggerhead turtles and one of the largest nurse sharks I've ever seen wedged under the J reef ledge within 10' of each other. 83 degree water temp! What wimp diving!!!:D Just had to rub it in didn't you.....

They renamed J reef to JY for the Jane Yarn they sank last year. That Nurse shark( 10'-11') was still there it almost ran my buddy Mike over twice. That was funny! Yea I have to say that was the warmest water I've been in in a long time. Felt weird. Was the first time in a year that I'd been in salt water as well. Just don't tast the same.haha
