Channel Islands Dive Adventures has the Peace chartered for a 2 day trip to Begg Rock & San Nick on August 24th & 25th (boarding on Thursday evening). Begg Rock is 8 miles northwest of San Nicolas Island. Begg Rock is a large sea mound comprised of a group of pinnacles, one of which rises about 15 feet above the water and then plunges into the deep depths way past recreational diving depths.
Begg rock is fully exposed and sometimes Mother Nature will not let you dive it, but when she does it is an experience you will never forget. Trips to Begg Rock (especially a 2 day) dont happen often, so sign-up soon and dont miss out!
*Begg rock is also now in a Marine Protected Area with no hunting allowed. The only thing you can take is pictures and great memories!
