eh?

that was an informed answer, no stirring up of anything...

if i was stirring things up i would have gone on about corrupt Chuukese politicians stealing from their own people and comparing how Yap has fared much better due to less rampant corruption..

Mike Veitch:
FSM has a free association with the US. THe US does give money, but FSM is no longer a territory of the US like it was years ago.

I knew it was no longer a territory, but it is hard for me to understand what the relationship really is now.

i thought that the "relationship" was that it was giving money to FSM because it was very damm close to asia/indo so the US govt can listen on its neighbours..... afterall, they cant have all their spies in Pine Gap/Oz can they??? ;)

Yeah, but Guam and Okinawa are even closer; this would seem to be redundant.

I visited Truk about 6 months ago for a 10 day CCR Rebreather filming expedition and stayed at Blue Lagoon Resort.

I found the resort nice, clean, the workers friendly, and the dive boats and dive masters excellent.

you can even view some of my images on their web site at

During our 10 days, we were able to visit most wrecks at least once.

Don't know if the TV worked, never had time to turn it on!!!! To much fun to be had.
