Hi all,

I m here to find some kind of expert for diving medicine. The following occured:

In August 2010 I did some freediving to around 30 meters. After dives I usually have some slight pressure left in my ears, which after a short time decreases and finally diminishes. But this time, that wasn t happening. So now I am chronically having some pressure on my ears, especially when I m doing sports and the pulse increases... The pressure isn t very high, since I m able to compensate with an exhale a bit more powerful than normal.
So I ve been at two physisians, specialised on ear diseases and had my ear drums (optical check and resistence check or the like), the sinuses (ultrasound) and even the inner ear (endoscopy through eustachian tube - nice!) checked, but everything seems to be fine, no organic/medical findings. At least thats what they ve told me. But this is contrary to my impression, that this constant pressure appeared right after one certain dive (the pressure after the dive was significantly higher than usual).
Apart from a slight constant pressure there are no problems, I have been to 40 m both scuba and freediving since August. But I also had a break for around three months without the pressure disappearing.

So, is there anybody who had to experience the same? Or does anyone have an idea, what could be the cause for these symptoms?

Very thankful for every answer!

Best regards, Felix
