No Brian, a cadillac would be a hefty scooter (Gavin, SS, or the new X-scooter). You woul think that someone who drives a mustang would understand this....wait a tick...you drive a ford, nevermind :D

This drysuit thing is for pansies...however, if the wife gets what she wants, then I'm going to be a pansy too!
Actually, I don't have much use for a scooter in the diving that I do. I tested what I consider the Rolls of drysuits on DUI drysuit days. Unfortunately, the price is equivalent to a Rolls Royce, LOL. So, I "settled" for this.

Warning, if you get a drysuit... you will want to dive more! But, you will be welcome in the club. Besides, cold water in a wetsuit as a way of making a man less of one for a while ......

Typical ford guys....always satisfied with being slow. :D

Hey Brian, glad you're getting the new suit! Now you just need a new vehicle to haul all of your stuff in--see me or hubby if you're interested in a Chevy, it's time to step up in the world

Yeah, but he wants a RELIABLE car... so better stay with a ford. But that's another thread.

Congrats on the suit Buddy! I look forward to undoing your zipper while we're at 80ft. After all, if I'm diving wet you should too! Oh and I've got some good glue for that p-value. Fix that thing right up!

I just ordered a significant upgrade for the drysuit that I am now diving...

Old Drysuit...

Basic DS-1, light material, suspenders, no other options

New Drysuit (err.... uh... Cadillac)....

Andy's DS-2 (diagonal front zip)
Cordura
Field replaceable wrist seals on dry glove rings (one day I may actually decide to dive dry gloves)
Relief "P" Valve
Kevlar Knee Pads
Bellows Pockets on Right Side
Suspenders

Now, let's just hope that this thing doesn't leak when it comes in!

What was the price on it?

I really can't quote the price. I work for an Andy's dealer in Midland as a DiveCon. I will say that it is less than you might expect. That is one of the few perks of a professional rating.

And Big-T, I have many dives to see the lakes. I don't need to do it all in dive, so slow isn't bad, LOL.
