Well they thought I may be exposed to asbestos so they did a radiograph. My question are about the results, any one understand any of this?????? I concerned about the line " low lung volumes". I do not get to see the doc for a couple weeks as hes out of town and its driving me crazy !
Findings: PA and lateral radiographs of the chest demostrate very low lung volumes which exaggerates the brochopulmonary vascular markings. No acute air space opacity is seen.
The heart and mediastinum are normal for the degree of insperation. no acute osseous abnormalities are identified.
IMPRESSION. Negative low volume chest radiograph.
