ok trying to check my work

Diver uses 1200 psi in 45 min dive at 45ffw

(1200/45)34
___________ = 11.47 psi per min

45 + 34

using scr above a tank filled 3100 psi will last how long at 68 fsw if diver wants 500 psi upon surfacing

68 fsw= (68/33)+1=3.06 ata

11.47*3.06= 35.098 per min psi

3100-500= 2600psi

2600psi/35.098 per min= 74.07 min

anybody see anything I might have wrong??

The Kraken:
Yeah, I don't see a tank volume.
He's calculating SAC Rate in PSI/min, which does not require tank volume (and therefore only applies to the same type tank as was used for the original measurement).

Tank volume comes into play when you are doing calculations for RMV (measured in cf/min), which can be used to normalize gas consumption across tanks of differing capacities.

You're right!
DOH ! ! ! !

It just gets worse and worse !!!!!
