So I went diving with the sea lions on May 3rd at Anacapa and spent most of it trying to film these amazing creatures with my Canon Powershot S50. Not the greatest camera, but it was fun and I enjoyed cutting the footage together.

Here's my rockin' video of swimming with the sea lions! I hope you enjoy!

fantastic! can I come next time? Those pups need some ritalin.... about those tunes.... Actually it was done very well choreographing the little guys with the music. Several places they appeared a little nippy...was it playful nippy or were they trying to take a bite out of each other? Hope you were watching over your shoulder for the big "you know who".

Really nice job on the editing. What software are you using?

How cool!! Was that from the Spectre?? JeffG and I are headed out to Anacapa in Sept, hopefully we'll have that many too! Thanks for posting!

Hey all, thanks for the kind words! Yes, that was off the Spectre about two weeks ago.

I think they were mostly playful nippy and not seriously fighting, but every now and then a bull would charge at me, maybe to keep me away.
Sure, Catherine, come along next time! Bring a camera and we'll have twice as much stuff to cut.
I was using Windows Movie Maker. It only took about four or five hours total to make.

I'll be making a few other videos soon and will be posting those when they're complete. Be on the watch!

See ya,
Jason
