I found a cheap mask from Walmart that fits well, seems durable, silicone, etc. What would be the advantage of diving with a big brand mask worth +10 times more?

If it has tempered glass, is designed for scuba diving, fits you well, doesn't leak and was cheap, then you struck gold. Price has no correlation to fit and often durability for that matter. I've owned a lot of masks FTR.
