Epoque has been making underwater gear aimed at the low end market for years. I would call them and ask who is the manufacturer of the camera. Just like Sea&Sea who uses Ricoh inside their housing rebranded to the Sea&Sea label, I'm sure Epoque is doing something similar.

Epoque has had many many problems supporting the US market - I'd stay away from them. There have been numerous stories of them keeping equipment that was sent in for repair and never returning it or replying to phone calls from consumers or dealers.

If someone from Eqpoque wants to address this here, please do. Otherwise my stance is stay away from Epoque!
