Hello,

I intend to try diving 2 hours in my life, while on vacation in Mexico, and I don't intend to invest money in this activity.

Yet I'm very short sighted (-6.5), and I don't have lenses.
I don't want to have a mask made for me.

Do they sell things like poor quality stickers that you would stick in a mask ?

A diving club I wrote to told me they had generic -2 correction masks ... do you know if a brand makes such generic poor quality masks ?

Thank you!

JC

Rather, invest some money in yourself to enrich the experience.

Since you are only going to get to do this once in your life you should spend some money to make the most of the experience.

Go to you optometrist and see if they can supply you with stick on vision correctors that you could add to the inside of a mask.

Or... better yet...

Go to a dive shop and *invest* some money into a dive mask that fits you and have them send it out for vision correction.

Here's a link to a company that sells generic correction masks for snorkeling. The price is good but I don't know if the mask is suited for diving. The other thing you need to worry about is how well the mask will fit. An ill-fitting mask is worthless.

Thanks a lot :-)

This solution looks good to me!

I'll pay attention to how well the mask fits, as you recommend.

Thank you again
