In looking around for a cheap IP gauge I found a cheap way to make one and to get a free engine compression gauge out of it.
First go to AutoZone and buy their standard $20 engine compression checker kit. This includes a 300 PSI gauge that has the same quick disconnect used by a standard air compressor.
Next go and buy whatever BC connector you need from your LDS.
The last part you need is a regular male air compressor fitting. I got mine at ACE hardware for $1.95.
The BC fitting screws right into the air compressor fitting (don't forget pipe thread tape). Then you simply plug that right into your gauge and BAM....you have a nice IP gauge with a pressure release button.
