Does anyone have been to Irian Jaya (Sorong, Raja Empat and Biak) for diving? How is the dive sites like? Any dives site to recommend?
Also is there any way to do diving cheaply in Irian Jaya? So far I only know of one dive operator called www.pupua-diving.com and Biak Diving. Their charges are pretty high. I have been diving in Indonesia for 2 months now and asking me to pay US$75 seems like a hugh amount of money. :11: Is there anyway to just rent tanks from the pearl divers and do your own dives?
