I know this is a little out of the ordinary, but my girlfriend and I are getting rid of one couch since we're moving soon and need to downsize. Posted on CL here:

If you can demonstrate actual need for it (for a good cause) then price definitely negotiable. SCUBA trades also possible (just don't tell her when you pick it up). 1st floor apartment, easy access, can help load.
